INTERNSHIPS

1. Organization Management Internship

The Twisted Spruce Music Foundation announces one part-time unpaid internship to start as soon as possible.  All content delivery and meetings associated with this internship for the 2020 year will be conducted virtually.  The internship is only available to individuals who are qualified to work in the United States.      

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Highly creative and motivated individual

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in fine arts, arts leadership, or arts management

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube social media platforms

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

 

Essential Functions

  • Website development and management

  • Vision for social media and marketing

  • Manage registration marketing

  • Liaise with board of directors to oversee summer programming

  • Assist with development of outreach strategies

  • Manage activities during the 2020 Online Symposium

 

Starts immediately through August 17, 2020

20 hours a week

2. Digital Media Internship

The Twisted Spruce Music Foundation announces one part-time paid internship to start as soon as possible.  All content delivery and meetings associated with this internship for the 2020 year will be conducted virtually.  The internship is only available to individuals who are qualified to work in the United States.      

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Highly creative and motivated individual

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in music composition or guitar performance

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube social media platforms

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop video media 

  • Vision for social media and marketing

  • Liaise with select faculty and assist with accessibility of curriculum content

  • Assist with audience development 

  • Assume leadership role with the organization

  • Manage activities during the 2020 Online Symposium

 

Starts immediately through August 17, 2020

3. Short-Term Social Media Internship

The Twisted Spruce Music Foundation announces a part-time paid internship to start as soon as possible.  All content delivery and meetings associated with this internship for the 2020 year will be conducted virtually.  The internship is only available to individuals who are qualified to work in the United States.      

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Highly creative and motivated individuals

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in music composition or guitar performance

  • Demonstrated ability to build social media platforms that include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube

  • Working knowledge of, and access to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Creative Suite applications

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively

  • Strong ability to work on a team and to work independently

  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and adaptive virtual environment

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop social media and marketing content

  • Assume leadership role with organization

  • Participate in development of online content

  • Participate in development of outreach strategies

  • Mentor younger participants 

 

Internships offer approximately 24 hours of paid work over a four to six week period, as well as free enrollment and participation in the Online Symposium.   This position requires approximately one to two hours of unpaid training hours a week.
